Below are the answers (re-published here) given by Kashish. The spiritual questions have been asked by readers/ students on various platforms.

q. What is the true meaning of the “one who sleeps”?

A. “One who Sleeps” means the one who is Not awakened to the TRUTH.

The truth being that this world is an illusion/ Maya. So we can say that  most of the peope in the world are sleeping ( have you heard of the song, “sadho re, ye murdon ka gaon”), this is what that song also means.

The one who is not sleeping OR Is awakened (Enlightened) is the one who knows that this world is not real and doesn’t attach himself to the world or to the results of his actions.

the king dies, the subjects (people) die,

the doctor dies, so do the patients..

“naam anaam anant rehat hai…dooja tatva na hoi”

Only the True name of God is infinite ( referred to the Word of God ( in Bible)/ Shabad (in Guru Granth Sahib Ji) )…there is nothing else that is true.

“Kahe kabir suno bhaii sadho..bhatak maro na koi”
